MASSAGE THERAPY POLICIES

TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

If you are a new client, please complete the intake form on our website and arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. All other clients will should arrive 10 minutes in advance to allow the client to settle into their treatment room.

Payments for services are due at the beginning of EACH visit. A credit card is required to reserve your appointment. We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks. HSA/FSA account credit cards can be used with a doctor’s prescription.

Gift cards are an ideal gift for any special occasion. You can purchase them on our website or through the office. Gift Cards are non- refundable and not redeemable for cash. Virtuous Wellness Center is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. Gift Cards must be presented at the time of service. Maryland law states that gift cards expire 4 years from purchase date.

You are responsible for your appointment times. However, we will send appointment reminders the day before with the date/time of the upcoming appointment to ensure that we have provided each client with a reasonable effort to ensure that the client is reminded of the appointment. Please confirm text reminders.

Please call us if you know you are running late, so that we might help you manage the situation. Virtuous Wellness Center will provide a 5-minute grace period for late arrivals. However, it is the responsibility of the customer to call and inform the office no later than 5 minutes before the start of the appointment of the anticipated late arrival. Failure to contact the office will result in a cancellation of the appointment and a cancellation fee being assessed.

The customer must cancel/ reschedule the appointment no less than 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in them being charged the full price for the services booked. Our cancellation policy applies to day of appointments as well, because you are blocking another person from that slot. You will be charged 100% of the fee. If you need to reschedule day of, it is considered a cancellation, and you will be charged 100% of the fee. If you are sick or have children that are ill and need you at home, we understand emergency situations. Please call to reschedule without a fee for your missed appointment.
